East Oakland! We’re back for our third-ever “That’s Oakland, Baby!” Millsmont Seminary Block Party on Saturday, September 26th from 12pm-5pm. Meet us at MacArthur Blvd. between Seminary & 61st Ave.All ages, all free, all love!
Registered guests (via Eventbrite) enjoy these FREE services & activities:
Kid Zone – Jumpers, face painting, kid manicures, bubbles, games, art & prizes for kids of all ages! Come play, get your face painted, bounce around, and leave with a little something special.
‘Scratch & Fade’ Wellness & Healing Zone – Massage, acupuncture, basic manicures, fresh cuts (fades, line ups, basic trims), aroma therapy, and more. Sit back, unwind, and let our practitioners take care of you — a little healing for the body and spirit.
T-shirt Printing – Make a free T-shirt from the Olive Street Agency. Pick your design and walk away with a one-of-a-kind shirt to remember the day.
DJs All Day – DJ Black Woman and Sean G setting the vibe all day! Come dance, hang out, and soak up the sound all afternoon long.
Free Food Vouchers – Free food vouchers for Bojax Kitchen, JJ’s Fish and Chicken, and more! Grab a bite from some of our favorite neighborhood spots, on us.
A friendly and important heads up: food vouchers, free t-shirts, and wellness services are all limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis — so we strongly encourage you to arrive early to make sure you don’t miss out!
This day is all about celebrating Oakland, each other, and showing love to the Millsmont Seminary business district. Join us for some fun, food, music, joy, connection, and some well-deserved care and healing for the whole community!
