Court Watch
This program organizes volunteers to observe what is happening in Alameda County criminal court proceedings. We gather this data, analyze it, and report out our findings in order to transform the publics understanding of the criminal justice system and hold our system’s leaders accountable to end mass incarceration and the criminalization of our Black and Brown community. Without this information it is difficult to hold systems accountable and to advocate for changes to create a system that serves the needs of our community.
